WHAT TO EXPECT

Central’s Worship Schedule

9:30 AM – Sunday School

10:30 AM – Worship in both the Sanctuary and The Well

 

The Sanctuary

Central offers a Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. These worship services are based on the liturgical calendar. Hymns, scripture readings, acts of praise, prayers, and affirmations of faith are used to worship God. Music plays an integral role in each of our Worship Services. Our adult, youth, and children's choirs minister to our congregation through moving and meaningful anthems.

The Well

Central offers a more casual, come-as-you-are style of service at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings in the Davis Christian Life Center. This service explores worship through different styles of music, prayer, and settings. Services at The Well are often designed around a particular theme and are much less formal than the traditional services at Central. The Well provides yet another excellent and faithful way to worship God.

  • Typically, we suggest arriving about 15 minutes before the worship service starts to allow plenty of time to make your way through the church and find a seat.

    There are Greeters at the entrances of each service. They will welcome you and answer any questions you may have! Our Ushers are available to help you and your family find a seat.

  • Our congregation spans a range of ages and backgrounds. The pastors wear robes for the services in the Sanctuary, but business casual in The Well. You’ll see people in the worship space dressed in all styles—from jeans to business attire.

  • Central has parking lots all around the church building.

  • Nurseries are open on Sundays from 8:45 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. All paid Nursery Staff have undergone a criminal background check and have been certified in Child and Infant CPR as well as First Aid.

    Children’s Sunday School is held at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday in the Children’s Hall. We have Sunday School classes for Children from 3K through 5th Grade.

    Youth Sunday School is held at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday in the Youth Hall. Sunday School class for youth is for grades 6-12.

    Please ask one of our Greeters to direct you to the appropriate locations for these activities.

Nursery Care

Whether you are a new parent, a new member or returning to our nurseries, we are excited about having you and your little one!  Central views its nursery system as a primary and necessary first step in your child's life.  We see this as an opportunity to plant a seed of spiritual learning in a safe, loving and caring environment.  Your child will become familiar with the values of home as well as their church. By means of prayer, song, Bible stories and crafts, our teachers will aid in establishing this very first pillar of spiritual growth.

All paid Nursery Staff have undergone a criminal background check and have been certified in Child and Infant CPR as well as First Aid. Each child will be checked-in for security purposes.
