Poverty Simulation
Wednesday, April 26

On Wednesday, April 26, everyone at Central is invited to participate in a Poverty Simulation designed to open our eyes to the human cost of poverty. If you have found yourself frustrated over some people’s inability to keep a job, a home, or raise their kids properly, this experience will give you some insight into the state of chronic crisis that consumes so many working poor families. The Poverty Simulation comes at a time when we are studying in Shift grups more about what it means to be a disciple of Christ and how to join Christ in mission in the world, as well as continuing to live into our mission of following Jesus by loving God and loving neighbor. The Simulation will open our eyes, break our hearts, and energize us to serve like Christ in a hurting world. This is a free event for Central members.
