Christopher-Lopez Moore, Tenor & Blade Boulware, Accompanist

Christopher-Lopez Moore, tenor from Trenton, South Carolina recently graduated from the University of South Carolina, Columbia with a double master’s degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education (Choral).  Mr. Moore graduated from Coker University in 2017 and currently teaches in Lexington County at Irmo Middle School. Professionally, Christopher is a Cathedral Singer at Trinity Cathedral in Columbia, a singer in LTO (Limited Time Only), a Chamber Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Alicia Walker, and a performer, gracing many stages within the Columbia Community. Mr. Moore effectively uses his voice to reveal a wide mixture of expression and emotions representative of the human condition depicted in music, even those sentiments that seemingly prove too difficult to express.

Pianist, organist, and violinist Blade Boulware, is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Boulware currently holds the position of music director and organist at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Chapin, South Carolina. In addition to his duties at the church, Mr. Boulware also works part time in a deli and as a freelance pianist. Mr. Boulware graduated from Coker College in 2018 with a degree in music with an emphasis in piano performance. His musical experience includes choral accompaniment, with experience spanning from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic church, the Dutch Fork Choral society, Coker College’s Coker singers, First Baptist Church of Hartsville, and St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church. He is also experienced in collaborating with individual singers, solo piano repertoire work, organ, and working with other musical ensembles of various sizes. In addition to having studied piano at Coker College with Dr. Ryan F. Smith, Blade has studied voice with Dr. Christi McLain and Dr. Lee Ousley, and also studied organ with Mark Husey and Dr. Don Grice.

Mr. Boulware is always trying to cultivate his musical talents and better himself as an individual. He lets the wind dictate his future plans; wherever it blows, you can expect to find Blade where the birches settle.
