Harpsichordist Gabriel Smallwood in Recital

American-born harpsichordist and Florence native Gabriel Smallwood has been studying in Germany since 2016. He recently graduated from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg and is now studying at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel, Switzerland. He appears regularly as a soloist in the United States and throughout Europe, and is also frequently sought after as a continuo player in chamber and orchestral settings. His program at Central will feature music from the Renaissance through Bach and Scarlatti. Free admission.
