Safe Sanctuary Training for Adult Volunteers

A one-hour training for adults who volunteer with vulnerable populations in our congregation will be held right before the Church Council meeting on Tuesday, August 16th. A nursery will be offered to attendees of both the training and those who have the Church Council Meeting afterwards. Fillable Safe Sanctuary forms will be sent out prior to the event via email. Central has a specific policy to protect our vulnerable as well as the volunteers. We believe it is very helpful to be clear on our policies and answer any questions that might come up as we work together to make this place a true sanctuary and safe haven for all.
